Our Story
The story began when the number of dentists across Egypt exploded, and dental companies multiplied just as fast, yet both sides drifted further apart. Dentists searched endlessly for products they couldn't reach, while companies struggled to access thousands of clinics through limited, outdated channels. Even online purchasing, which should have solved this, delivered inconsistent and unreliable experiences instead.
As dentists who have lived inside this industry for more than twenty years, MedSTA's founders knew the problem from the inside and set out to fix it completely. MedSTA isn't just an online store connecting doctors and suppliers. It's a full platform that brings together verified products, trusted brands, and high-value scientific content from leading professors in Egypt and beyond a real professional community, not just a marketplace.
MedSTA was founded in 2025 by Sherif Watany, DDS, together with a founding team of seven co-founders spanning dentistry, technology, operations, and business development (see Meet Our Team below). More than 3,000 dentists have already trusted MedSTA to deliver the quality, reliability, and service they deserve, and MedSTA is becoming the foundation of a fully connected dental and medical community in Egypt, with every member benefiting from being part of something bigger.
