It is with immense pride that we bring to you this Handbook of Drugs in
Infertility.
Treating patients presenting with infertility is an important component
of contemporary practice. Often as practicing gynecologists, we are confused
with the plethora of options available to us and are unaware regarding the
specifics with respect to the pharmacological minutiae and application of
such knowledge in day-to-day practice as per the current recommendations
and evidence.

This handbook is a humble attempt to bring together a diverse range of
authors ranging from general gynecologists to basic infertility practitioners
and fertility physicians practicing assisted reproductive technology (ART)
to contribute their knowledge, experience and expertise on all the available
drugs and formulations being used in fertility practice today. We hope this
book will serve as a ready reckoner and a single go-to reference for the
dosages, duration and practical applications for therapeutic alternatives in
various clinical scenarios.
We have attempted to include the most updated recommendations and
guidelines in a single volume which will be easily accessible to practitioners
from various backgrounds including postgraduate students, general
gynecologists, infertility specialists and ART consultants. If the material
presented is helpful to you in treating your patients, our hard work and efforts
in putting together this volume will have been well served.
